Job Summary: Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining milling Multi-axis machines to produce precision parts and components. They ensure that the machines function efficiently, monitor the production process, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Machine Setup: Set up and prepare milling machines by selecting the appropriate cutting tools, work pieces, and machine settings. This includes loading materials and securing them in the machine.
  2. Machine Operation: Operate milling machines to perform cutting, shaping, and machining tasks on various materials such as metal, plastic, and composite materials.
  3. Quality Control: Monitor the machining process to ensure that the finished parts meet the required specifications and quality standards. Use measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify the accuracy of the work.

Qualifications:

The Estimator serves as a point of contact on assigned estimating and customer quote activity for the business unit. Serves as the primary customer focal point for all assigned RFP/RFQ requests. Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for sheet metal and machined parts and components. Creates and maintains manufacturing cost estimates and proposals utilizing Routings and Bills of Materials for production of Aerospace components.

JOB FUNCTION:

Receive, download and submit Request for Quotations (RFQ) from customer portals and review all accompanying documents and engineering data packages Evaluate all engineering data and information to assess product ability Review parts lists, drawings, and other data to determine manufacturing requirements including outside processing (heat treat, etc.) material, labor, and tooling and prepares itemized lists of those requirements Prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, and determining cost effectiveness of make/buy analyses Makes recommendations to improve the manufacturing process, and when appropriate supports LEAN Manufacturing activities Analyze variances between estimated cost and actual cost to effectively evaluate the adequacy and accuracy of the utilized estimating parameters. Job Description:

CMM operator will run CMM programs in PC-DMIS for First Article inspection and in-process inspection. The candidate will complete First Article Inspection Reports in Net-Inspect. The candidate will assist in resolving quality related issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION PRE-REQUISITES

1. Must have 5 plus years of experience with CMM operation (Must know PC-DMIS)

2. Must have knowledge of aircraft/ aerospace blueprints.

3. Must have strong knowledge of GD&T.

4. Must have experience with inspection gages (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gages, air gages, bore gages, etc.).

Inspect work pieces at regular intervals to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.

4. Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on EDM machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and electrode replacement.

Identify and report any machine issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Job Description :

Capable of multitasking in a dynamic, fast paced Aerospace production environment. Operates primarily in a self-directed manner with overall direction from the Quality Assurance Manager. Works directly with Production, Process Control, Engineering, and Shipping/Receiving. Supports the effective implementation of quality policies and associated procedures. Performs mechanical inspection of products to ensure in-process and end product quality of parts, components and assemblies. Utilizes standard mechanical instruments, CMM's, functional gauges, test fixtures, etc. for variable data collection.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Perform First Article Inspections of parts, materials, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, tools and final product configuration using customer blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, purchase orders, and other applicable sources to observe, measure, record conformity to customer, regulatory, and company specifications.

2. Review contracts, purchase orders, drawings, routings, shop instructions and other planning for quality requirements

3. Support the qualification of new products

4. Ensure correct methods, tools and criteria are used for inspection

5. Assist Production with continuous improvement activities by providing guidance and leadership

6. Identifies and segregates nonconforming material to be properly documented and recorded

7. Prepare and use standard documentation for reporting inspection data

8. Record variable inspection data on Detailed Inspection Plans (DIP) for the purpose of capturing measurement results
